Bohol, One of My Homes

I was just 5 years old since the last time I came to visit Bohol and now that I’m 22,
I felt guilty. It’s actually my Dad’s hometown. I never had a chance to visit the place back then because of school. Last year of November, I was invited to be one of the bridesmaids of our relatives’ wedding. Mixed emotions was felt, actually! Haha! Weird, eh? For real! I just felt that I am the only one who never visited the place. But as I came there, they gave me a warm welcome, especially my grandmother, she really missed me a lot. She used to carry me when I was still young and loves to make hot choco for me. Hehe! Too bad I haven’t visited my grandfather’s grave but I know he’s always there to guide me. And to show my appreciation, I sung on the wedding reception as a wedding gift as well where all of my clan was present. Not to mention that I’m really a shy type person! Hahah! Thank God it went well for I haven’t done any practices for this event and for the fact that it was the first time I sung in front of them. Hahah! XD

Bohol is just one of the places here in the Philippines that has beautiful beaches. So since we were there, we went to Panglao where white sand beaches are. The place is so relaxing! Far from the city-no pollution, no traffic! It’s just a nice vista and real fresh air. And not expensive too! Well sponsors were there. Haha! But as far as I know, it cost not that much. Not bad for a workaholic like me! I just felt sad for I haven’t visited other places of Bohol for I need to get back to Manila in the next day and since I’m still on probationary, I didn’t file any vacation leave. That’s why I have to go back soon. Loads of works are waiting for me! I would definitely be back to that place! And when that time comes, I’ll visit every place that I must see! Oh how I wish I could get a nice grand vacation, of course I’ll bring my family with me. Soon! ;)

You should visit Bohol. You’ll know the feeling when you’ll get there. ;)
