Food Photography Workshop at Café Marcello

Last March 11, 2012, a Basic Food Styling Photography workshop was held at Café Marcello,
Imus, Cavite. The workshop was conducted by Cavite Camera Club with the help of Mr. Nick Olayao. It’s actually a fund raising project of our club which was offered only for few but I was one of the lucky ones. Heheh! For me, it’s a great opportunity to grab this kind of workshop since one of my things is food blogging. I learned a lot from it especially the tricks and secrets of photographing foods. I was really amazed on how they prepare the food before the shoot. And it really takes time to prepare! I guess I was drooling the whole session. Hahah!

Anyway, let me show you some of my shots:

Perfect for summer! :))

From Cafe Marcello's menu, Azure Margarita ;)

Behind the scene. Our very own, Sir Nick Olayao.

And to the owner of  Café  Marcello, Kuya Rico Tagle, thank you for lending us your café and for the free food as well--Exclusively! Haha! ;)

  1. I like how did you do that? I mean picture the subject with white background? Is there any paper below? :)

    1. There's none :) We used a product table, the form is like a white sunbathing chair hehe! but use only for product photography. And at the background of the margarita is a big studio light. :)
