Celebrating Life at Precious Moments Manila

October 6, 2012, an event was held and bloggers were invited. I was actually invited by Ate Joy, my cousin, who’s also a blogger and it’s my first time to join such event!
Lucky enough for the invitation was only given to 15 bloggers.

Are you familiar with Precious Moments? Well you should! Precious Moments are known for their cute Christian figurines that give inspirational messages and were designed as gift for all seasons and occasions. The first thing that came to my mind was a gift shop of figurines itself only, but I was wrong! I never thought that Precious Moments has its own restaurant, the Precious Moments Manila. And they got a resort too, the Sampaguita Gardens Resort and Spa located at Aklan. Amazing, eh? ;)

Let me show you their place...

Ground floor. Cafe's dining set for family.

Ground floor. Cafe's menu board.

Ground floor. Cafe's wall display.

Second floor. Counter area.

Second floor. Guests can book special events here such as weddings, birthdays, baptismals, etc.

Precious Moments Collectibles

Precious Moments Manila offers very reasonable prices both gift items and foods! And they serve big servings that could share by a family, group of friends or even couples. And the foods were really good! My tummy got overwhelmed when I saw the foods being served. Hahah!  Food blogging is really love! ♥

And here's our lunch.. WARNING! Food overload :))

Seaweed and Century Egg Platter ♥

Seafood Spinach Soup ♥

Korean Squid  ♥

Crab with Sotanghon ♥
Braised Pata Tim ♥
Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet ♥
Sweet and Sour Lapu-Lapu ♥

Butterfly Prawn Szechuan Style ♥

Mango Float ♥
Cookies n' Cream ♥

The purpose of this event was actually to share their advocacies which are to love, to care, to share, to touch, to empower, to restore and to celebrate lives. It is their mission to become an active ambassador by serving everyone selflessly.

Our speaker, Mr. Jojo Sonillo.

“Precious Moments cannot be equated on money. It's not about money, it's about a celebration of life”, Mr. Jojo Sonillo said, as he gave us a warmth welcome. This is actually the meaning of each figurine they sell. Because each figurine that has been sold was being donated to a charitable cause such as schools. As long as they can, they would help. Precious Moments that is. :)

Mr. Samuel J. Butcher, the creator of Precious Moments, was surely sent by Him. You are really a man that has a deep faith and conviction. Thank you Sir!

I really had a great time, aside from being inspired and motivated, I met other bloggers and enjoyed the foods as well. Thank you Ate Joy for the invite! Godbless! :D

Til next post loves
